You may have noticed that I posted a periodic table on the site. I love science. In my view, it is very interesting because of the fact that it is the clear truth, proven by fact. My science teachers have definitely inspired me a lot. What first got me interested was astronomy in pre-K. And that is how I got to love science.

  1. Great start to your blog, Thomas. I agree with you in your love of science. To me, one of the most important attributes of a person is their curiosity about the world in general. Curiosity + determination + scientific method = new knowledge. Pretty powerful stuff.

Keep up the good work. I'll certainly be checking back regularly.

  2. PS - I too am a trekkie. I just watched Phantasams (a TNG episode) yesterday, and it was really interesting. It is an episode where data learns how to dream, but has trouble interpreting it. Look it up on youtube.

  3. It's always nice to find someone else who's a fan of science, especially chemistry! Have you run any experiments of your own? I'd love to hear about them.

  4. Hi Thomas. I found you through your dad's blog, although I hope you don't get swamped by some of the crazies there.

I too am a Start Trek fan. Are you familiar with Myers-Briggs Personality Type theory? Since you seem to be interested in a lot of the same things I was, I think you might find it very interesting.

If you enjoy the Star Trek "old generation" I will share with you some Personality Type information that you might find very interesting.

Your dad was nice enough to send me a book, so I can send you a presentation I made on Star Trek and personality type.

  5. Thomas,
Do you think the Periodic Table is complete or will new elements be found?
    Steve of Clemson

  6. No I do not think the periodic table is complete I think more elements will be found. Also the table on my blog is not complete. It is missing man made elements.
